The 21st edition of the National Health Training Institutions sports championships kicked off Tuesday in Kabale district.
Hosted by Kabale School of Comprehensive Nursing and Midwifery, the competitions scheduled to end September 16, 2023, have attracted 2948 athletes and 303 officials from 60 schools from 14 regions across the country.
According to Hajjat Dembe, a principal Education officer in the Ministry of Education and Sports, the athletes will compete in the cross country race, Chase, woodball, Football for boys and girls, handball, and volleyball, among others.
