From humble beginnings as a primary school teacher, Henry Luke Orombi, rose to become the top-most man in the Province of the Church of Uganda.

Upon his pending retirement, this edition brings you the story of Archbishop Henry Luke Orombi and his years of service to the church. We trace his rise from when he was a simple teacher to later becoming the first Bishop of the Nebbi Diocese.

We analyze his service as Archbishop, looking into the community development projects he aided or accomplished as well as his achievements on the spiritual front. Orombi is credited for being able to bring the youth back into the Anglican Church.

Through telling his story, we also analyze the church’s challenges of friction between believers and the clergy. Issues of accountability and management of funds in the church system are also looked into.

We also have the Archbishop (Rtd) Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo giving his opinion on how Archbishop Orombi has shepherded the Anglican flock in Uganda.

Good listening.
