Police have blocked all routes leading to the offices of Dr. Kizza Besigye, the former Forum for Democratic Change-FDC president along Katonga Road in Kampala. Besigye is slated to address a press conference together with other opposition leaders under their umbrella, the United Forces of Change-UFC.

This morning, police sealed off Katonga Road blocking access to the offices. However, police allowed Besigye to access the offices. The opposition leaders expected at the presser are drawn from the National Unity Platform-NUP party president, the Uganda People’s Congress party, and the Alliance for National Transformation-ANT.  Police are yet to comment on the blockade at Besigye’s offices.
