“In Africa we are in need of spiritual well being and religious scholars have a key role to play to guide the communities,” he said.

Reverend Dr. Canon Grace Kaiso, who represented the Secretary General of the Interreligious Council of Uganda- IRCU observed that while many people share aspirations for peace and collaboration, many think those things will come on a silver plate.

“But as demonstrated by the theme we must be deliberate on those things that will help us to live as brothers. So the initiative from Morocco is a testament that there are people who are not sleeping. We want to congratulate the founder of this foundation,” he said.
