Police in Budaka district have apprehended 42-year, Alamazani Mudebo, on charges of aggravated defilement. Mudebo, a resident of Nyanza A Cell, Kamonkoli South Ward, Kamonkoli Town Council is accused of defiling a pupil of Kamonkoli Mixed Primary School.
He reportedly enticed the minor with chapatti before luring her to a toilet, where he undressed and sexually assaulted her. Locals intervened upon witnessing the incident and apprehended Mudebo before contacting the victim’s mother, Brenda.
Immaculate Alaso, the North Bukedi region police spokesperson confirmed the incident, saying that Mudebo is in custody at Kamonkoli Police Station pending further investigations. Notably, Alaso disclosed that the suspect had previously been incarcerated at Malukhu prisons for defiling his own 3-year-old daughter. This latest incident raises concerns about a pattern of such behavior.
